Alpine Holidays was founded by Ken Mburu way back in 2006 after third visit to Mount
Kilimanjaro and 7 times ascent on top of Mt. Kenya both in East Africa. Almost years later,
whilst still exploring wild places in Africa, Ken continue to influence the direction that Alpine
Holidays takes and the range of holidays that we offer to our clients. Due to clients demand to
enjoy the white sand beaches after the climbs and wildlife viewing, Ken teamed up with Rachel
Karimi who has huge experience on arranging beach holidays in East African coasts. And one of
our major packages was born “From the mountain to the beach”.
We offer our own versions of most of the Africa’s classic experiences, such as trekking to Mount
Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro tours. We have developed walking, trekking, and family holidays
in East Africa countries. The exotic culture and amazing landscape of this welcoming East
African country are a big hit with Alpine Holidays’ clients. Explorers at heart, we are continually
