05 Days Masai Mara and Rift Valley.
Day 1: Depart from Nairobi at 0900hrs and drive to Lake Naivasha. Brief stop at the View Point to see the spectacular scenery of the Great Rift Valley, which includes steep escarpments, volcanic mountains and lakes. After lunch at the shores of Lake Naivasha, you can either do an exciting boat-ride (optional) to one of the islands in the lake or simply survey the area on foot for its immense diversity of birds. Dinner and overnight in a camp
Day 2: Morning birdwatching or boat ride drive to round the lake or to Crescent Island. Alternatively, hire bicycles for cycling in HellÌs Gate National Park. After lunch drive for 2 hours to Lake Nakuru National Park for afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is a world famous bird sanctuary and home to millions of flamingoes. There are also lots of other interesting wildlife species such as the white rhino, leopard, lion, waterbuck etc. Afternoon game drive round the park. Dinner and overnight bush camp
Day 3: Morning game drive in Lake Nakuru. Later drive to Masai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival, have lunch at Mara Springs Safari Camp then do a late afternoon game drive. Optional hike to the summit of the nearby Naunare hills from where you can enjoy good views of the expansive Mara ecosystem. Dinner and overnight Mara Springs Safari Camp
Day 4: Take an extensive tour of the Masai Mara. Leaving shortly after dawn, you spend the whole day driving through different locations of the Reserve, watching animals as they feed or groom each other. Take a short break from the mid day heat to have picnic lunch at the Hippo Pool where you can watch hippos gracefully swim or bask lazily. By the time you return to the camp in the evening, you’ve hopefully seen the elephant, the rhino, the lion, the giraffe, the hippo, the buffalo, the zebra, the leopard and a lot of other species including birds. An evening Maasai dance and cultural lecture around the campfire can be arranged at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight Mara Springs Safari Camp
Day 5: Early morning game drive, which is followed by a visit (optional) to a Maasai village (“Manyatta”) to learn more about the local people’s unique culture and lifestyle. Return to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.
05 Days Masai Mara, Nakuru and Amboseli
Day 1: Drive to Maasai Mara. 250Kms / 4-5hrs.
Morning pick up from your hotel or the airport then drive west from Nairobi, down the Great Rift Valley and across it to Maasai Mara. After lunch at the lodge we do an afternoon game drive in the park – this park is perhaps the best game reserve in East Africa and on our afternoon to evening game drive here we’ll most likely see elephants, buffaloes, lions, zebras, giraffes and a whole ark-full of other animals and birds in their natural habitat. Dinner and overnight at Fig Tree Lodge.
Day 2: Explore Masai Mara.
A day to enjoy full-time game viewing in Maasai Mara. Now the seventh wonder of the modern world, Maasai Mara an extension of Serengeti Eco-system is a country of breathtaking vistas, vast rolling plains and rounded hills, acacia woodlands, dense thickets of scrub and the riverine Mara River ecosystem. It’s vast plains teem with endless herds of grazing game together with the associated predators – our expert naturalist guides and sturdy vehicles ensure you have the best chance of seeing them all and understand their habits. We return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight. NB: Optional early morning balloon ride or a visit to a Maasai village in the course of the day can be organised today at an additional charge.
Day 3: Drive to L. Nakuru National Park. 250Kms / 4-5hrs.
An early morning game drive (6 am) in the Mara trying to spot any animals you may have missed the previous day, (for bird watchers this is best chance to see the numerous bird species of Maasai Mara). Return to the lodge for breakfast then make the road journey to Lake Nakuru and arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge (or similar). Though smaller in sized this park is spectacular and picturesque with abundant wildlife and where there is an excellent chance of seeing the rare rhino (both black and white species), the elusive Leopard, and the unusual Rothschild’s giraffe as well as vast herds of buffalo, lions, gazelles, eland, zebra and many more. The Park has also had nearly 400 species of birds recorded within its boarders among them the millions of flamingoes which paint the lake edge with its shimmering pink color. Other birds include pelicans, ostrich, marabou, ibis, eagles, vultures, woodpeckers, touracos, barbets, among others. After an extensive afternoon to evening game drive we return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Drive to Amboseli. 400Kms / 6-7hrs.
Early breakfast then set off to Amboseli park with a brief stopover in Nairobi for early lunch. We’ll arrive at Amboseli Game Reserve in the late afternoon just in time for an evening game drive. This is also a smallish park famous for being the best spot in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants. Other attractions of the park include the spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro – the highest free-standing mountain in the world and opportunities to meet the Amboseli Maasai tribesmen. Dinner and overnight at Mada Kilima Lodge once again.
Day 5: Explore Amboseli / Return to Nairobi. 250Kms / 4-5hrs.
Pre-breakfast game drives in Amboseli offering us the best chance to view Mount Kilimanjaro and wildlife in various wildlife habitats of Amboseli – open grassland plains, acacia woodland, rocky thorn bush, swamps and marshland. Amboseli ecosystem is home to gazelles, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, wildebeests, zebras, hippos among others and the presence of permanent swamp makes birdlife in Amboseli also abundant. After another exhaustive full morning game drive and lunch we journey back to Nairobi and arrive in the evening hours. NB: optional visit to a Maasai Homestead or do a walking safari with warriors possible at an additional cost.
10 Days Wildlife Safari in Kenya
Day 1: Leave Nairobi in the morning for Samburu Game Reserve. On arrival, do a late afternoon game drive en route to our camp by the river banks. Dinner and overnight at Naromoru river lodge (Mt Kenya) for lunch, then a further 3-4 hours drive north to Samburu Game Rcamp
Day 2: Whole day of game drives in Samburu. Samburu Park which straddles the Ewasongiro River is the most renowned representative of semi-arid parks in Kenya. Some endemic animals found here are found nowhere else on our tour circuit. These include the reticulated girrafe, jackson hartebeest, gravy zebra and gerenuk among others. During the hot hours of the day you retire to one of the lodge for a swim or drink at extra charge. Dinner and overnight bush camp
Day 3: Morning game drive as we leave the Reserve for a drive back to Naromoru river lodge for lunch. The rest of the afternoon at leisure-nature walks, colobus monkey search, boating etc. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Leave Nairobi early and drive southeastwards to Amboseli National Park. With its backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro (Africa’s highest mountain) and the abundant wildlife, Amboseli is a real spectacle. This is where you can see large herds of elephants and plains game, giraffes, gazelles, lions, leopards etc roaming the plains. Dinner and overnight bush camp

Day 10: Early morning game drive then return to Nairobi.
